MT. LEBANON (KDKA) — Police in Mt. Lebanon are investigating a possible child luring attempt.

A 12-year-old girl says she was walking on Pinewood Drive near Maplewood just after 4 p.m. Tuesday when man asked her where she lived and if she wanted a ride.

“And he said, ‘Hey you. Where do you live?’

“And I said, ‘What?’

“And he was like, ‘I’ll give you a ride home.’ And I just ran away,” she told KDKA-TV.

The man is white, believed to be in his 60′s. He’s balding with short white hair.

He had a stocky build and was wearing dark sunglasses.

He was driving a clean, small, white older model pick-up truck with round headlights.
