Father, 3 Boys Killed In East Liverpool Fire

EAST LIVERPOOL (KDKA) -- A man and three of his sons died early Saturday when fire ripped through a home in East Liverpool, Ohio.

The three-alarm fire was reported just after midnight at a home in the 900-block of Vine Street. East Liverpool is a small town on the Ohio River less than 10 miles from Midland in Beaver County.

On Sunday, authorities identified the victims as 37-year-old Ulrick Estimot and his three sons, 11-year-old Trey, 7-year-old Terrell and 5-year-old Trenton.

A neighbor who lives on the same street watched the fire burn out of control early this morning.

Jessica Cross told KDKA-TV: "I couldn't see nothing at first, it was just all black smoke. It got really bad on the second floor with flames shooting out the windows."

Cross said she felt terrible about the tragedy, and was praying for the victims and their families.

East Liverpool Fire Chief Williams Jones told KDKA-TV that it was impossible for his men to make any rescues because of the intense heat and flames.

The flames could be seen coming from the first and second floor windows.

The Ohio State Fire Marshal's office is investigating the cause of the fire and why it spread so quickly.

Jones said all off-duty firemen were called to help fight the flames.

A small spray of flowers has been placed on the front steps of the two-story house to remember the victims.
