Butler Co. Road Rage Case Of Mistaken Identity

BUTLER TOWNSHIP (KDKA) -- A road rage incident that began in Center Township, Butler County, ended near the Pennsylvania State Police barracks in Butler Township.

Ricky Allison, 53, of Slippery Rock, is now being held in the Butler County Prison on $50,000 bond.

State trooper Kenneth Walker says Allison rammed a car that he thought was being driven by his estranged wife at the intersection of Routes 308 and 8. He was driving a red Chevy pickup truck.

Allison rammed the vehicle in front of him repeatedly, even as the vehicle entered the State police barracks parking lot.

It turned out the vehicle was being driven by a stranger – not his estranged wife.

Allison's vehicle spun out and ran through a neighbor's yard near the barracks. He lost control and got stuck in a ditch below the barracks building.

Allison was combative when approached by troopers. He was subdued with pepper spray and a taser.
