Pink Slime- What's the Real Deal?

PITTSBURGH (NewsRadio 1020 KDKA) -- Pink slime is in your kid's cafeteria burger, at McDonald's, and most likely in your grocery store's ground beef.

While there is public outcry to get the stuff out of our food, do you even know what it is? It sounds gross, but is it really that bad?

KDKA AM's Larry Richert and John Shumway talk to Edward Mills, a professor at Penn State's Meat Lab and an expert on beef and dairy, about what pink slime is and why there's so much controversy- and why he says pink slime is actually beneficial.
