PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) — The Pittsburgh Pirates made a couple moves Wednesday to help finalize the roster for today’s season opener against Philadelphia.

Reliever Chris Leroux was placed on the 60-day disabled list with a strained right pectoral muscle. That allowed right-handed reliever Juan Cruz to be added to the 40-man roster.

Jared Hughes was the last reliever added to the bullpen.

The Pirates and Phillies open the season today at PNC Park at 1:35 p.m. The game can be heard live on Sports Radio 93-7 The FAN.
