Penguins Announce Return Of Big Screen For Playoffs

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – A playoff tradition for the Pittsburgh Penguins will continue again this season as the big screen will be set up, but in a new location.

According to the Penguins' website, the 16' x 9' high-resolution LED video board will be set up in the Epiphany Catholic Church parking lot.

Fans will be able to gather on the CONSOL Energy Center lawn to watch all playoff games, both home and away.

The Penguins first started setting up the big screen in 2008 for fans who do not have tickets to the games or those who would like to watch the games in more of a playoff atmosphere.

The Penguins will begin their playoff run Wednesday night when they host the Philadelphia Flyers at 7:30 p.m.
