HOMEWOOD (KDKA) – One person was arrested in connection with an early Tuesday morning stabbing in Homewood.

According to emergency dispatchers, the stabbing took place around 1 a.m. in the 7300-block of Mount Vernon Street.

A man was taken to the hospital after being injured in the incident, but the extent of his injuries is unknown.

Police have arrested one person and believe the stabbing may have stemmed from a domestic dispute.

Identities of the victim and the suspect have not been released at this time.
