PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) — Penguins captain Sidney Crosby was named the NHL’s No. 3 star on Monday for his production in the final week of the regular season.
Crosby scored three goals and added three assists in three games. Two of his goals were game winners, as the Penguins finished the season with three wins.
Phoenix goaltender Mike Smith was the No. 1 star, and Tampa Bay center Steven Stamkos, who scored his 60th goal last week, was the No. 2 star.
