REDSTONE TOWNSHIP (KDKA) -- Authorities continue to investigate following a deadly double shooting in Fayette County.

The shooting happened at a home near the intersection of Second Street and Pine Street in Filbert, which is a community in Redstone Township.

Emergency dispatchers received a call about shots fired at about 2:50 p.m. Wednesday.

State police identified the men as 56-year-old Michael Monestersky and 54-year-old Kenneth Moody.

Police sources tell KDKA-TV the two men were drinking inside the home on Second Street.

Sources say they got into an argument and one man pulled out a gun and shot the other one to death.

"This had to have been a very tragic accident," said Stephanie Datsko, a neighbor. "They were friends; they were both great people. They were both wonderful people."

KDKA-TV has learned the victim's 19-year-old son heard about the shooting.

Sources say he came to the home and chased down the man who shot and killed his father.
