MOON TOWNSHIP (KDKA) – A female pedestrian was flown to a Pittsburgh hospital after she was struck by a car in Moon Township.

The accident happened just after 6:30 p.m. near Corporate Center Drive on Friday.

Moon Township police say the driver, David Ruev, stayed at the scene after the accident and went through a field sobriety test.

He also went to Sewickley Hospital for a blood test and was released.

Meantime, the victim is at UPMC Mercy Hospital. There is no word on her condition.
