2 Arrested In Connection With Carnegie Shooting

CARNEGIE (KDKA) – Two people have been arrested and an arrest warrant has been issued for a third person in connection with a Saturday afternoon shooting in Carnegie.

According to investigators, the first shots were heard at the Carnegie Towers on Capitol Drive and Beechwood Avenue around 3:15 p.m.

Two people and an infant were injured in the shooting, but all are expected to recover from their injuries.

The victims drove to a nearby BP gas station to receive help. Meanwhile police had pulled over a green Cadillac STS in the Carnegie Tower parking lot.

Four people were inside the car and a stolen handgun was found discarded close to the scene.

Two of those occupants have been arrested in connection with the shooting.

They have been identified as 21-year-old Byron Hall and 20-year-old James Edmonds Jr. Both are from Homewood.

Both are facing charges of conspiracy to commit aggravated assault and recklessly endangering another person.

An arrest warrant has been issued for 19-year-old Rashad Watson, who is facing a list of charges including, attempted homicide, aggravated assault and recklessly endangering another person.
