PITTSBURGH (NewsRadio 1020 KDKA) — Dr. Gerald Pifer was joined in the studio on NewsRadio1020 KDKA for Medical Frontiers by Dr. Rahila Essani and Dr. Shyam Thakkar.

Dr. Essani is a Colorectal Surgeon at AGH and Dr. Thakkar is an AGH Gasteroenterologist.

This week the doctors talked about colorectal disease.

They also talked about AGH’s 9th annual Big Blue Quest on Saturday, April 21 at North Park. It is a 5k run that raises awareness about colorectal cancer.
