2 Killed In Robinson Twp. Crash

ROBINSON TOWNSHIP (KDKA) – Two people are dead after a car crashed into a tree Tuesday evening in Robinson Township.

The accident happened around 9:30 p.m. in the 4300-block of Steubenville Pike.

The Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office has now identified the victims at 86-year-old Dominic Napoli and 78-year-old Lois Napoli.

According to authorities, a witness reported that the car swerved before slamming into the tree.

“I’m a little shaken up; it wasn’t a nice site to see,” said Gary, a man who saw the accident happen. “I felt bad because it was an elderly couple.”

One of the victims was reportedly thrown from the car.

Authorities are investigating what caused the vehicle to swerve.
