Missing Mount Lebanon Woman Found Safe

MOUNT LEBANON (KDKA) -- Authorities in Mount Lebanon say a woman who went missing after going out for a walk Sunday morning has been found.

According to police, 77-year-old Jane Henderson had last been seen by a neighbor while she was walking along Fieldrook Drive just before 11 a.m.

Police say she left her home on Fruithurst Drive in the Sunset Hills neighborhood of Mount Lebanon just before 9 a.m.

Authorities say she has shown signs of dementia, but has not wandered away before.

Searchers had been out for much of the day, searching with dogs on the ground and also from the air.

Officials say a fellow church member spotted Henderson near the Eat 'N Park on Banksville Road Sunday evening. She is safe.
