PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — An accident along the Pennsylvania Turnpike created some heavy traffic delays this morning.

The crash happened in the westbound lanes between Irwin and Pittsburgh.

Crews were able to move the overturned tractor trailer to the shoulder of the road, but some traffic tie ups were still being reported in that area early this morning.

Meanwhile, crews spent the overnight hours cleaning up a section of the Turnpike after another crash.

Two vehicles collided just before 11 p.m. in the eastbound lanes of the Turnpike in Monroeville.

At least one of the vehicles flipped over in the accident and injuries were reported.

There is no word yet on caused the crash.
