PINE TOWNSHIP (KDKA) – New details have been released about a house where drugs and explosive materials were found over the weekend.

Authorities said that while the situation was unusual, it was not surprising.

This bizarre case has taken yet another turn. Sources tell KDKA that this is not the first time police have been called to 2031 Condor Lane in Pine Township.

Believe it or not, it is not the first time explosives have been pulled from the home.

The home currently sits vacant with police citations and municipal notices that the home has not been cleared for occupation.

Local, county, state and federal law enforcement descended on the neighborhood Saturday morning.

A call for an out of control, underage drinking party is what prompted police to be called.

However, they found marijuana, what state police confirm was an illegal hallucinogenic mushroom growing operation and bomb making materials and chemicals.

Sources tell KDKA that several years ago, police went in the home and found bomb making materials, which were removed. There is no word if charges were filed.

The home also allegedly holds parties on a regular basis.

Allegheny County property records indicate that 53-year-old Theresa Gaugler is the homeowner. However, sources tell KDKA that she is very seldom at the home. Her 14-year-old and 20-year-old daughters presently live there as well.

With the state and federal government as well as local officials involved, it’s believed charges will be filed.

At this time it remains to be seen which individuals will be charged.
