SCOTTDALE (KDKA) — Crews in Westmoreland County searched for a missing elderly man with dementia.

Sam Miller, 84, had been missing from Jo-Ella’s Personal Care Home on Spruce Street in Scottdale for at least six hours, but he was found safe at about 10 p.m. Monday.

They found him at the intersection of Delaware and Loucks Avenue in Scottdale. Miller is now being evaluated by EMS.

East Huntingdon Township Emergency Management helped with the search.
