Equine Angels Rescue
Several horses were rescued from a Butler County barn Tuesday night.
Representatives from Equine Angels Rescue say the horses were not cared for or fed properly.
The woman who owns the property in Butler Township said she leases the barn and no longer wanted to watch the horses.
She agreed to give up the animals so she would not be fined.
Equine Angels Rescue is now caring for them.
Once they are rehabbed, the horses will be sent to foster homes.
