PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) – Former Pirates pitcher and current broadcaster Steve Blass calls in to the Vinnie & Cook Show on Sportsradio 93-7 The Fan. He looks at his new book “A Pirate For Life,” and admits that it’s pretty cool to walk into the bookstore and see his own book on the shelves!

Steve talks about the two years he spent dealing with Steve Blass Disease, but notes that’s only a small part of a great life.

Steve also is disappointed by how things went in St. Louis for the Pirates on Wednesday night, but thinks Pedro Alvarez may finally be on his way.
