Police Probe Vehicle Break-Ins In Pleasant Hills

PLEASANT HILLS (KDKA) -- Police are investigating after some items were reported stolen from unlocked, parked cars in one local neighborhood.

According to investigators, approximately a half dozen thefts have been reported in Pleasant Hills.

Authorities say things like loose change, wallets and purses were stolen.

"We would encourage people, if they're going to leave their vehicles outside overnight, to lock their doors; and certainly, even if their doors are locked, certainly not leave there personal effects inside of their vehicle," said Lt. Sean Greene, of the Pleasant Hills Police Department.

Many of the incidents happened Sunday night into Monday morning along Temona Drive.
