Sean Casey Outlines Bucs' Woes
PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) -- The Pittsburgh Pirates lost four of their last six games against division opponents, St. Louis Cardinals, and Cincinnati Reds. The Fan Morning Show talked to MLB Network Analyst and former Pirate Sean Casey.
Sean is not at all worried about the Pirates Pitching staff. But, if they can't score runs, it doesn't matter how well the staff is hurling the ball, they will not win games.
Rod Barajas is a bit of a lightning... well... rod, for criticism. Sean isn't so quick to say that the catcher has lost it. If Barajas has a great month of May, Sean says, people will be saying that he found the fountain of youth at 36 years old. Sean says, "the back of your baseball card doesn't lie."
