Elizabeth Twp. Homeowner Fires Shots At Burglar
ELIZABETH TOWNSHIP (KDKA) -- A homeowner fired shots at a burglar this morning.
A man and his wife were sleeping on the first floor of their Elizabeth Township home in the 100-block of Klondike Street when the suspect walked in.
The homeowner grabbed his gun and fired two shots at 25-year-old Raymond Hiles, of Elizabeth. One of the rounds grazed the back of Hiles' neck.
The suspect then ran to a car and drove off, but police saw him and arrested him near the house.
Hiles is now facing several charges, including burglary.
