State Police Probe Robbery At Kwik Fill In Center Township

CENTER TOWNSHIP (KDKA) — State police are searching for a suspect following a robbery at gas station in Butler County overnight.

The robbery happened just after 2:30 a.m. at the Kwik Fill on North Main Street Extension in Center Township.

According to state police, the suspect demanded money and cigarettes from the clerk working in the store.

Authorities describe the suspect as a white male standing between 5-foot-8 and six feet tall and weighing around 150 pounds.

He was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, jeans and a bandana that cover his face.

Police say he got away with two cartons of cigarettes and some money.

The investigation continues.
