McKEESPORT (KDKA) — Police are investigating after at least two people were shot in McKeesport Saturday evening.

Emergency crews and police were called to the scene in the 2300-block of Bailey Avenue around 9 p.m.

According to our news partners at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, a man and a woman were wounded in the gunfire.

There are reports that a helicopter was flown in to transport one of the victims to a hospital.

There have been no reports on the conditions of the victims.

So far, there is also no word on what led to the shooting.

The Post-Gazette reports investigators were gathering evidence from an alley near Kings Fried Chicken and Bailey Food Mart following the gunfire.
