Suspect In Fatal West Mifflin Shooting Arrested

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — Authorities have arrested a suspect in connection with the shooting deaths of two men in West Mifflin last weekend.

According to our news partners at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, 20-year-old Richard Krista of Homestead was arraigned Friday. He is facing charges of criminal homicide.

The shooting happened around 10:30 p.m. on May 11 at the Mon View Heights housing complex.

Joseph Sherrill, 19, and Cody Ruder, 21, were both pronounced dead at the scene.

An arrest warrant was issued for Krista on May 12.
