Pizza Delivery Driver’s Windows Shot Out In East Liberty

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — Police are investigating after a pizza delivery driver had his vehicle windows shot out overnight in East Liberty.

Authorities say the delivery driver managed to escape unharmed when the shots rang out around 12:45 a.m. along Meadow Street.

The driver has not been identified and there is no word yet on which pizza shop he was working for.

According to investigators, it’s believed the he was heading towards a delivery when the shots rang out, one hitting the driver’s side window.

It’s believed several people may have been involved, officials said.

Police say they took at least four people in for questioning along Saint Marie Street.

But there’s no word yet on whether any arrests have been made.
