Outlaw Platoon To Be Honored In Pittsburgh
PITTSBURGH (NewsRadio 1020 KDKA) -- Many U.S. soldiers have fought at the dangerous border between Afghanistan and Pakistan, some never returning.
One platoon who fought that fight has their story in "Outlaw Platoon," written by Pittsburgh native Captain Sean Parnell; and during Memorial Day weekend, he and his platoon will be honored in Pittsburgh.
KDKA AM's Larry Richert and John Shumway talk to Captain Parnell and a few of the other members of his platoon about his New York Times best seller, their story, and how they will be honored this weekend.
