Local Man Accused Of Having Sexual Relationship With 13-Year-Old
PERRYOPOLIS (KDKA) -- An 18-year-old man is accused of having sex with a 13-year-old he met online.
Police say the pair met on Facebook just a couple of days before Valentine's Day and used the holiday as a reason to meet up.
Christopher Martin, 18, picked up the 13-year-old at her home then took her to his home on Brewer Road in Perryopolis where he introduced her to his father.
The pair then went to a nearby gas well where the inappropriate relationship began.
According to Perryopolis police, the couple engaged in sexual acts on two more occasions over the next five days – once in a barn and another time in Martin's home.
The pair met on Facebook and only chatted for two days before deciding to meet up.
Police got involved in March after receiving a phone call from the 13-year-old's grandmother.
Martin is charged with felony counts of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, statutory sexual assault and corruption of minors.
Martin declined to comment on the charges. He's free on $10,000 unsecured bond.
