PITTSBURGH (NewsRadio 1020 KDKA) – Rob Pratte talked to the new CEO of Pa. Cyber School, Mike Conti, and the new CEO of the Baden Academy, Steve Catanzarite.

They talked about traditional school enrollment and the cost of education. They said that traditional school enrollment is down and the cost is up just under $1,200 a student and the charter school enrollment increased and the cost has risen just over $2 a student.

Steve Catanzarite said that all school including charter, cyber, private and public schools “have to find a way to do more with less.”

They talked about how charter schools and public schools can work together to make the entire system better. Catanzarite said, “We don’t have all the answers.”
