PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – When we woke up this morning the Pirates were tied for first place in the NL Central after the Cincinnati Reds lost Sunday to the Tigers.

Rob King of ROOT Sports joined the Fan Morning Show to talk about it.

Rob talks about how the pitching has not only been great thus far, but how it is less susceptible to having a meltdown like last season because of depth. With guys like Jeff Karstens and Charlie Morton on the shelf with injuries, the Pirates have guys like Brad Lincoln, Rudy Owens, and Jeff Locke all pitching well for in AAA.
