PITTSBURGH (93-7 THE FAN) — Pirates broadcaster and former pitcher Steve Blass joined The Fan Morning Show on Thursday to reflect on his 1971 World Series title when the Pirates beat the Baltimore Orioles despite being underdogs.

Blass said it was a great run in ’71 and the world finally had a chance to see Roberto Clemente.

Blass recalls many of these stories and more in his new book: “A Pirate for Life” which is out in book stores now.
