4-1-Zoo: Pitt Closes Week With Two Commitments

PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) -- Pitt head coach Paul Chryst received two verbal commitments to end the week, as running back Corey Clement and wide receiver Zach Challinsworth announced they plan to join the program.

Challingsworth (South Fayette) was the first to commit, de-committing from Toledo after participating in a Pitt prospect camp to join the Panthers.

Clement (Glassboro high school, New Jersey) followed with a commitment of his own. He's rated as one of the top running backs in the country by both Rivals.com and Scout.com.

He rushed for over 2,500 yards and scored 34 touchdowns in his junior season. Clement chose Pitt over offers from programs like Notre Dame, Florida State, Penn State, Nebraska and West Virginia.

He, too, committed after visiting a Pitt prospect camp.
