PITTSBURGH (NewsRadio 1020 KDKA) – Leslie Bonci, Director of Sports Nutrition at UPMC, joined Larry Richert to talk about the news of New York’s ban on sugary soda.
The proposed crackdown is on the super-sized world we are living in.
Leslie said, “Let’s applaud New York for trying to do this.”
They also talked about some schools trying to cut back on the amount of sugary drinks and cutting back on budgets by eliminating physical education.
Leslie said that people are just not aware of what they are putting in their bodies.
