PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — Evgeni Malkin is this year’s winner of the NHL’s Hart Trophy.
The award is given to the player who was deemed most valuable to his team.
Malkin received the trophy at the NHL awards in Las Vegas Wednesday.
He also won the Ted Lindsay award as the league’s top player.
That award is chosen by the players.
