PITTSBURGH (93-7 THE FAN) — Paul Zeise of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette joined the guys on The Fan Morning Show Friday to discuss the debut of Pittsburgh Pirates’ pitcher Gerrit Cole in Altoona and the proposed BCS College Football Playoff system.

Zeise was very impressed with what he saw from Cole in Altoona. His fastball was peaking at 98 miles per hour, but what was even more impressive was his off speed stuff and how he was keeping hitters off balance.

He says Cole is a true star in the making.

Zeise also says he likes the concept of the new BCS Playoff system that is set to start in 2014, but he still has issues with how the teams will be selected.
