NEW BRIGHTON (KDKA) — Two lifeguards rescued a 13-year-old boy in Beaver County Saturday evening.

It happened during a birthday party at a swimming pool at New Brighton High School.

Authorities say the lifeguards pulled the boy from the pool and performed CPR on him.

The teen, from the Ambridge area, was breathing on his own when he was taken to a nearby hospital.
