PITTSBURGH (93-7 THE FAN) — Pittsburgh Penguins’ ROOT Sporta’ analyst Bob Errey joined Seibel, Starkey and Miller on Sportsradio 93-7 The FAN to talk about the trade of center Jordan Staal and where the team goes from here.

Errey was between the benches last year for a game against the Carolina Hurricanes, and Brandon Sutter, one of the players acquired in the Staal trade, was the best player he saw on the ice for Carolina.

When it comes to the free agents the Pens will be pursuing, Errey said Pittsburgh has everything you’d want as a free agent.

Whether or not the Pens will be able to sign free agent winger Zach Parise, Errey said having Sidney Crosby will help the team, but in the end, money talks, and it will take a good chunk of it to bring in a player of his caliber.
