PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — Police have arrested a teenager in connection with a shooting that left a dog seriously injured.

The 2-year-old pit bull, named Wolfie, was shot last weekend in Pittsburgh’s Marshall-Shadeland section.

Police say the 17-year-old boy they arrested was on leave from a halfway house at the time of the shooting.

Officers say a 9-millimeter handgun was used, but they haven’t determined a motive.
