SLIPPERY ROCK TOWNSHIP (KDKA) – One woman was injured in a crash involving an ambulance in Lawrence County Saturday night.

A man from new castle was heading south on Route 65 in Slippery Rock Township when an oncoming car crossed into his lane.

It then went sideways and was t-boned by the ambulance, which had just dropped off a patient.

The driver of the car is a 33-year-old woman.

She had to be freed from the wreckage and was flown to an area hospital. Her condition is currently unknown.

No one else was injured in the accident.
