WAMPUM (KDKA) – A child had to be flown to a Pittsburgh hospital after a dirt bike crash Sunday afternoon.

The accident happened at Mines and Meadows in Wampum, Lawrence County.

Two children riding dirt bikes crashed into one another.

As a result, one was flown to Children’s Hospital with what is described as a serious head injury.

No other details have been released at this time.
