Pirates’ Clint Hurdle Is Good To Go For Season’s Second Half

PITTSBURGH (93-7 THE FAN) — Pittsburgh Pirates manager Clint Hurdle checks in with Vinnie & Cook on Sportsradio 93-7 The Fan.

Hurdle is rested from the All-Star Break and ready to go for the home stretch of the season. He outlines his positives on the season so far, explains how Pedro Alvarez has turned the corner, and gives his expectations for the weeks ahead.

Hurdle says the Pirates will consider all options at the trading deadline, but also thinks the team can still win the division even if it stands pat.

He also reveals his favorite moment of the year.
