COLLIER TOWNSHIP (KDKA) — A natural gas leak caused some problems early this morning in Collier Township.

According to emergency officials, workers apparently hit a gas line along Route 50 around 12:45 a.m.

The leak forced crews to close down the road between Steen Road and Winstein Street.

While the road had to be shut down, no evacuations were ordered.

Crews were on scene well into the morning making repairs.
