PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) — Pirates Bench Coach Jeff Banister joined Seibel, Starkey and Miller on Sportsradio 93-7 The FAN to talk about the call-up of Outfielder Starling Marte and what it has been like being with the Pirates as long as he has and watching things come full circle.

Banister talked about how emotional he gets when thinking about the Pirates finally competing, and having that celebration on the field when they finally make it back to the playoffs.

Jeff also tells us some of the advice he’s sure Clint Hurdle will have for Starling Marte as he gears up to make his major league debut.
