Body Pulled From Allegheny River Near Ft. Duquesne Bridge

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — Authorities are investigating after a body was pulled from the Allegheny River this afternoon.

According to emergency officials, River Rescue crews pulled the body from the river between the Fort Duquesne Bridge and the 6th Street Bridge around 2:30 p.m.

Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s office confirms the victim is 33-year-old Joseph Kastory from Pittsburgh.

The autopsy is scheduled for Saturday.
