Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network Information

There has been a dramatic increase in sex abuse reporting since the Jerry Sandusky scandal made national headlines.

The Rape, Abuse and Incest National Network says it's seen a 50 percent increase in people seeking help on its hotline since Sandusky's arrest.

The majority of the people seeking help are male victims of childhood sexual abuse.

Some are referring to it as "The Sandusky Effect."

If you are a victim of sexual abuse, you can get help.

You can call RAINN at 1-800-656-HOPE or visit their website at http://www.rainn.org/.
