PENN TOWNSHIP (KDKA) — Part of Route 8 in Butler County is closed because of a tractor-trailer accident.

It happened at the intersection of Route 8 and Dinner Bell Road in Penn Township.

The semi is reportedly on top of a car.

A medical helicopter has been called to the scene.

There is no word on when that section of Route 8 will reopen.
