Lawrence County Man Drowns In Beaver River
TAYLOR TOWNSHIP (KDKA) -- Crews have recovered the body of a Lawrence County man from the Beaver River.
Ronald Christopher Poloka, 20, was found 150 yards downstream from where he entered the water.
Dave Allegro of the Taylor Township Volunteer Fire Department said the victim tried to swim across the river and became distressed.
After a three-hour search, crews recovered his body in eight to 10-feet of water.
