PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — There was a bit of an uproar in Market Square this morning after someone found a suspicious package.

Police say it appeared to be a suitcase with a wire sticking out.

The bomb squad was called in, several streets were blocked off and people were evacuated from the area.

The bomb squad decided to blow up the suitcase in a small explosion.

Police have since reopened Market Square.
