PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) – The Pirates dropped two of three games against the Reds over the weekend, but, as Sean Casey told the Fan Morning Show on Monday, he doesn’t think the Reds are that much better than the Pirates.

That said, he does see the Reds as the best team in baseball, and the Pirates are going to have to try and keep up.

The Arroldis Chapman incident, where he plunked Andrew McCutchen with a 101 mph fastball may put some fuel to a potentially blazing rivalry. Sean thinks the Pirates did not have to act swiftly over the weekend in getting revenge on the Reds.

He tells us how he thinks Clint Hurdle and the Pirates will handle the situation.

We get Sean’s thoughts on what could shake out in the NL and within the NL Central.
