From The Fan Morning Show
PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) – The Fan Morning Show was live in Latrobe on Tuesday and spoke to 93.7 The Fan Steelers Insider, and Post-Gazette beat writer, Ed Bouchette.
Even though Mike Wallace will start losing money for every game he misses, Ed thinks that Mike will not show up to play until much later in the season.
Ed goes through some of the position battles that have been playing out in the first two weeks of camp. He thinks it is a tight race to take the second cornerback spot opposite Ike Taylor.
Keenan Lewis is the front-runner but he is getting some great competition from Curtis Brown. The best battle that Ed sees is at the backup running back position.
We also hear Ed’s thoughts on who will replace Antonio Brown on punt/kick returns, how the rookies are working out, and which of the backup quarterbacks are playing the best at this point of camp.
